Fontys Dance Department at Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts in Tilburg, The Netherlands has organized an Intensive Study Program (ISP) Re-Designing Spaces for teachers as well students in October 2015. The ISP is part of the large research Inclusive Dance. The transferable skills of the dance artist. This platform is the outcome of the research, ending in 2017.
This workshop was a group exercise in analyzing the space and perform adapting to human behavior happening on location instantly.
Dance Company Vloeistof was founded by Anja Reinhardt and Yuri Bongers (both Fontys Dance alumni). They exist over 10 years and are specialized in making performances in the public space for different audiences or purpose. Within their method they approach performing as an act of analyzing, understanding and adapting the the public space, playing, creating and interacting with what happens in the moment.
