Saturday, April 29th ‘Dag van de Dans’ took place. Dance companies, cultural centers, art centers, theaters, cinemas and work spaces in Flanders and Brussels place dance in the spotlight. In De Singel you could register for various arts campus activities. There were workshops and showings of students, an exclusive premiere of the film ‘Babel 7:16’ and a recording of the performance by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Damien Jalet.
Next to that Labo Inclusive Dance Platform (LIDP) gave a contemporary dance workshop open to dancers with and without disabilities. LIDP is a project led by Iris Bouche and organizes, in collaboration with our dance training, an annual symposium and lessons inclusive dance.
