Bassano del Grappa is a small Italian city under the Alps. Thanks to cultural connection with Netherlands, they adopted the Dance for Health program for Parkinsons and turned into one of the weekly community activities. Their classes are held in the city museum and there is usually around 40-50people attending – not only Parkinson dancers, but as well seniors, friends, family members and sometimes the mayor of the city. For the annual festival in Bassano, they decided to prepare their own group choreography on music of Bolero and present it on the main square of Bassano del Grappa – the community contribution to the international festival.
