A short text by professor Pascal Gielen (BE) in arts and sociology about performing in the public space. Giving a notion to what he calls the common city, a place for artists to reconquer by their arts practice and the urgency in contemporary society.

The text connects to Dance and public space and gives insights and considerations on why and how to perform the public space (over and over again). The public space is at stake according to Gielen and artists are hugely important to re-define the public space on social and engaging terms again.
